Jordan furnish
About Jordan:
I grew up in the small town of Austin, IN with my adopted parents that received custody of me when I was in high school. They willingly took me into their home to raise me as their own. They gave me a life that provided opportunities for me to be successful and taught me morals and values about life. Before graduating high school, my addiction ran rapidly. After failing out of college the first semester I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps to get away and escape the life I was living. The only thing that changed was the scenery, because I took "myself" with me, and nothing changed. After years of living in "the madness", I was sentenced to twenty years in the Indiana Department of Corrections in 2015. During my incarceration I entered a Recovery program and became Senior Coordinator. I was able to help implement the RWI program into the facility I was at during my incarceration. Shortly after that I was able to modify out of prison and begin my recovery journey. Currently I have seven years of sobriety and work hard on a daily basis to become a better version of myself. My beautiful wife Katie and our four children, Mayci, Emma, Brayden, and Karter, and our dog Remi are my world! I thank God every day for the life I GET to live.
